Serving Our Community

Papoose  is committed to improving maternal and child health in the communities it serves. The Papoose Community Fund was created to subsidize the cost of our programs and to support partner organizations that share our goals. We also collaborate with individuals and organizations in Connecticut for the  medical/educational system to continue pushing the bounds of research. Many of these important Research initiatives depend on the participation and input of our membership. We encourage you to consider volunteering time with one of our great partner organizations and/or participating in one of the innovative research initiatives underway

Papoose Community Fund

As part of our mission to serve all expecting and new parents regardless of economic status, we have created the Papoose Community Fund. This fund helps make educational and support services affordable for more of Connecticuts expecting and new parents. A portion of Papoose Membership dues goes to the Fund to subsidize the cost of classes, underwrite free services and support partner organizations serving our communities. Any Papoose client in need of financial assistance is eligible for grants for childbirth preparation and other core educational classes; grants are awarded on a sliding scale based on client need.

If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, download the scholarship form, call our community fund line at 860-889-2323, or email info@papoosebebe.com to request an application and we will gladly mail one out to you.

Many thanks to our Members for helping us achieve our goal of more confident parents, healthy babies and happy families!
